Asphalt Repair, Patching & Pothole Service
Not every damaged surface needs to be torn out. We will tell you honestly whether a repair buys you five more years or just hides a base problem.
How We Approach Asphalt Repair & Patching
Potholes and isolated failures get a saw-cut, full-depth patch: we cut back to sound pavement, remove the failed material, repair the base if it is wet or soft, then place and compact new hot mix flush with the surrounding surface. For surface-level defects and seams we use infrared repair, which reheats and reworks the existing asphalt for a patch with no cold joint to let water back in.
Cracks wider than a quarter inch get routed and filled with hot rubberized crack sealant. It is the cheapest work we do and the single best thing you can spend money on, because nearly every pavement failure in Massachusetts starts with water getting through a crack and freezing under the surface.
We also reset sunken catch basins and manhole frames, rebuild crumbling edges, and repair trench cuts left behind by utility work.
